The location of this cottage was fantastic, with easy access to shops and a dog-friendly beach. We were able to park right outside, which was very convenient. the cottage was clean and comfortable, with good Wi-Fi and a TV. the owners were friendly and available if needed, but also gave us privacy.
The furniture could use some updating as it looked a bit old. there were limited TV channels, especially for children, which would have been nice for evening entertainment.

The location of the accommodation was fantastic, just a short walk from the train station and the beach. We were able to easily explore the surrounding area, including attending an event that was only a short train ride away. the shower in the bathroom was great, providing a refreshing and enjoyable experience. the owners were friendly and easily accessible, making our stay more enjoyable.
There were a few things that didn't meet our expectations. the beds were extremely uncomfortable, with visible springs that made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the convenient location of the property, just a short walk from the train station and the beach. the cottage had comfortable beds and a lovely seaside decor, creating a cozy atmosphere. the hosts were friendly and always available to help if needed. the property was clean and tidy, and the amenities provided, such as milk in the fridge and a welcome pack, were much appreciated. Being within walking distance to shops, entertainment, and dog-friendly areas of the beach was fantastic.

We stayed at Isambard Cottage for a weekend trip to attend Tankfest. The location was amazing, just two minutes away from the train station and the beach. The cottage itself was spacious and clean, with a great shower. The owners were easily accessible and responsive, and even had a shop around the corner. We were welcomed with a thoughtful basket of tea, coffee, milk, and biscuits. Everything we needed was within walking distance, including amenities and the beach. We would definitely stay here again!

Parking permits are provided, allowing for easy parking right outside the cottage. there are thoughtful touches such as a welcome pack with hot drinks and biscuits, as well as beach essentials like bucket and spades.
The front door can be a bit tricky to lock and unlock from the outside.

had a great overnight stay in weymouth. isambard cottage was perfectly situated, with easy access to the beach and lots of restaurants nearby. comfortable, clean, and excellent hosts made for a perfect weekend getaway.

I recently stayed at this lovely cottage for a weekend getaway. The location is fantastic, just a 5-minute walk from the train station and within walking distance to all the amenities. The big bedrooms, spacious bathroom, and fully equipped kitchen made our stay very comfortable. The broadband and BT sports on the TV were a bonus, keeping my husband happy. We also enjoyed the nice little courtyard for summer BBQs. The hosts were excellent, very accommodating and friendly. it was a perfect stay that felt like a home away from home.

Isambard Cottage is conveniently located near shops, good takeaways, and a dog-friendly part of the beach. the double bedroom offers plenty of storage, while the top bedroom provides good storage space and is perfect for average height adults and children. the hosts are friendly and always ready to assist, and the bathroom is of a nice size and well-maintained.
The parking situation can be a bit challenging due to the narrow street, but there are public car parks nearby for alternative parking options.

We had an amazing stay at a lovely cottage close to the center of Weymouth. Isambard Cottage was beautifully decorated and felt like a friend's home. The brand new bed and linen added to the cozy atmosphere. The kitchen was well-stocked with utensils and plenty of crockery. The location was perfect, just a short walk to local historic and leisure locations and the stunning beach. We also appreciated the convenience of on-street parking and free public parking after 6pm-8am. The owner's shop was just around the corner, which made communication easy if needed. a delightful stay in a characterful house.
